New Minimum Invoice Amount for ETH & TRC20 tokens

New Minimum Invoice Amount for ETH & TRC20 tokens

Due to numerous clients’ requests to lower the minimum invoice creation amount for USDT on the Ethereum ERC20 and Tron TRC20, Plisio has decided to revise the existing fee system and change minimum payment amounts.

New Minimum Invoice Amount

The new minimum invoice amount for all ETH, ERC20, TRC20 and tokens is now $10. This is the smallest amount that can be transacted on these blockchains without significant losses.

It means that you can create an invoice of any amount equivalent to $10, or exceeding it at the current cryptocurrency exchange rate.

Fee Changes

Along with the minimum amount, changes the payment fee system for ERC20 and TRC20 tokens. Plisio will charge 0.5% of the payment amount for each invoice - but not less than $1 per invoice.

For example, if you create a payment invoice for $10 in USDT on the Tron blockchain, the Plisio fee will not be 0.5%, but 10%. This logic will be applied to all invoices.

For invoices the amount of which will be  $200 and more, Plisio will charge the standard 0.5% fee

In case you don’t wish to lose profits on small amounts invoices, we recommend you pass the fee payment to your customers. It can be done in Settings

For example

You sell goods worth $12 in USDT ERC20. Once your customer receives an invoice for $12 and pays for it fully - you will receive $11.

But if it you have passed the fee payment to your customer, the situation goes as follows:

You sell goods worth $12 in USDT ERC20.  Once your customer receives an invoice for $13 and pays for it fully - you will receive $12.

Invoice underpayment

In the case of invoice underpayment, the fee is charged on the actual amount sent by the customer.

For example:

You sell goods worth $12 in USDT ERC20.  Once your customer receives an invoice for $12 and pays half the amount ($6) - you will receive $5.
